Today I sat in traffic on the M11. An accident had closed the road and I was stuck there for a while. It's possibly fair to say that this made me a little bored and apathetic.
Shortly after this I saw a man. A man in a car, which was handy because we were both still on the M11 and people really do belong in cars there. However this man stood out because his car was a gun metal Ferrari F430 Spyder. Although that is usually only cool enough for me to make a little smile and yet this man made me grin.
What made me grin was the fact that this man made his exhaust make lots and lots of wonderful sounds. Wonderful, delicious, glorious noises that made me turn my stereo off and listen to just his car. This man cheered me up and for that I am grateful. In fact, should anyone see a Ferrari registration HN1 give the driver a wave and a smile - he's really cool. Seriously.
Of course, he may be cool but he was still over shadowed just a few miles further on. The Luftwaffe were landing at Duxford and buzzed me which was so much cooler than anything under the cold, freezing sun.
