Bloody Typical

So here we are, back at Warwick getting a quick online fix. Despite having installed the line ten days ago now, BT still haven't acknowledged this to allow extra services to be added to the line. I've no doubt that when the bill arrives I'll have been paying line rental for all this time. I'm confident that they'll have an exact record of every call made to and from the line so that they can collect the money for those. Yet still they say the line doesn't exist so I'm unable to purchase extra services on the line. Oh, and it's a bank holiday weekend, so they won't discover it any time soon either.

I swear, for a company that found itself mired in debt only a few years ago they seem positively against allowing me to help them maximise their profits. Acquiring this line has resulted in me spending money elsewhere and growing ever more resentful of the company. My mobile phone company are overjoyed at the fact that I actually use the thing now that's for sure. All through through this process I would've happily given BT money, I've seen ways they could charge me for doing nothing that I would've happily accepted, and I've lost any faith I had in that company.

To be honest I'm tired and weary of their pathetic ways. They've managed to reach a level of incompetence I hadn't realised possible. BT are useless, plain and simple. However we're stuck with them, for they have a strangle-hold over this country than tyrants and despots would envy. And for those who have missed the subtle allusions of this, I don't like BT. Idiots.
