Ch-ch-change

When I woke up this morning I was the perfectly happy owner of a Citroën AX. My car had served me well over our years together. It had protected me in two crashes, it had stayed on the road when my driving disagreed with physics, it was my cherished little car. I actually owned it. I paid for it's care and attention. I grew with it.

However when I set off to buy some petrol this morning I discovered my exhaust wasn't very happy. The car wasn't exactly quiet anyway, but cripes! Subarus and Evos ran in fear at the throaty roar coming their way. So I did the sensible thing and took it to the local garage. This resulted in the age old debate regarding the most cost-efficient way to keep motoring. Today a Volkswagen Polo won.

I miss my old car already. I'm sure I'll come to love this one soon enough though.
