Using the accepted format of this meme for this I shall reveal 23,567 files, spread over 2,435 directories for just shy of 16GB worth of data.

Except that's all completely wrong since I have a few empty folders in there, and some songs are on more than one album so that's cheating slightly, and that doesn't include some of the stuff littered in other areas of my drives.

Nor does it include my last few albums because a couple of versions ago iTunes went wonky and refused to recognise my drives - plus it won't keep the music library in order. Trying other ripping software seemed to result in stupidly slow encoding times or further abject failure. So basically my music collection is in desperate need of a spring clean.

I haven't got a clue. Really I don't. I seem to have managed to avoid buying CDs for a number of months now; the last few I've had were gifts. These include Lester Norton, Maroon 5, and A New Found Glory who deserve constant mention for their punk version of The Never Ending Story Theme.

Well thanks to the joys of FM radio the last song I heard was One World Project - Grief Never Grows Old, although thankfully I got home before it finished so I didn't hear it all. Which means the last song I heard properly (by radio standards) was Good Charlotte - I Just Wanna Live (maybe it grows on you). The last song I actually played myself was Third Eye Blind - Deep Inside Of You
