Zoooooooo

As I sit here I realise it's not long before I turn 42 (in base 6 anyway). Time is ticking away folks! I've managed to ensure the last few days of this year have been relaxed.

Today I took Cathy to PC World so she could check out mice and keyboards. She hates the split keyboard design, so she's considering getting one. The worst aspect of keyboard buying is that so much seems to be "desktop kits" these days. Found a nice keyboard? It probably comes with a mouse you're not so keen on. Nice mouse, try buying it without that nasty keyboard. It's stupid.

Yesterday was even more relaxed actually. We wandered around Colchester Zoo, things happened and I'm getting older, so I'll let Cathy tell the tales. The highlight was the zeedonk! You need to understand that Colchester was my local zoo as a child. We had school trips there, my parents took me there. I grew up with a zeedonk down the road. For many of you this may actually be the first you've ever heard of this animal, but I didn't realise they were rare until a few years ago.

Unfortunately when you start talking about zeedonks to other people you get some strange looks. Now this isn't new to me, I spent many years in my childhood with even my family refusing to believe me when I said there was such a thing as a labradoodle. Some people just have no faith in me, luckily Cathy did (about both animals too).
