An innocent comment on IRC had me trying to remember some aspect of this clasic of my childhood, of course seeing that I was already online the obvious thing was to scour the 'net to see what goodies I could find. Disturbingly I found myself enjoying this investigation far too much, so I decided to the only thing I could do was note it all down here.

This is a feast of Thundercats trivia! It also holds the credit for revealing that there was New Thundercats. Now without wishing to sound too anti-change I tend to find that New and Improved rarely is, and when it comes to entertainment flogging an idea just just how thin these things can wear, but I don't care because I never actually saw the New Thundercats so my memories of the originals are not sullied by whatever the New version did. This is also home to the episode guide and the disturbing revelation that the super smooth young stud hero was voiced by a middle-aged guy with a slightly dodgy moustache.

Did you know there was talk of a movie? Well apparently there was, but apparently it was also a hoax. Who cares though? Not you when you discover the bizarre world of the sound clips that ended up on the cutting room floor! Okay, they won't change your life but you might chuckle at Mumm-Ra out on the pull.

The Comic Book

Yep, I missed it I know but they made a Thundercats comic book! No real revelations here I admit, but maybe my inner-geek thinks it's kinda cool okay? Unfortunately this does mean I may do something stupid like look out for these things now. Sheesh.
