Okay, this is the index page, it's not a smart index page, or a pretty index page, but it's an index page. Basically I'm admitting that I'm not likely to do anything flashy to it for a while, this site is a little playground for me to fiddle with geek stuff.

If this page looks a bit strange it's probably because you're using an early copy of Netscape, actually, if I've done it right you should just see a very boring page with no fancy effects on it. Unfortunately these early versions of Netscape don't actually do what they're supposed to, since more recent versions like 6.1 actually do work I write these pages to suit them. If this was a big commercial site I'd make an effort to get things working for anyone and everyone regardless, but as it's just a place for me to enjoy myself I write these pages to comply with agreed standards, something that incidentaly should make it easier for people with disabilities to enjoy, although I'm afraid some of my little fun toys can't be translated.
